Brampton, Ontario (January 31, 2017) Effective February 1, 2017, Debro Inc. has been appointed to represent Solvay Silica throughout Canada. As a part of the Solvay “Advanced Materials Group” Solvay Silica is a market leader offering the “Zeosil” range of products used for Industrial and Mechanical Rubber Goods applications and the “Tixosil” range used for Oral Care, Food, Feed, Nutra and Personal Care.
“Solvay Silica brings to Debro a complete range of products backed by a global manufacturing footprint, best in class quality, R&D and technical support, and we are thrilled to have been selected to represent such a great product line” said Bill Heise, President and CEO, Debro Inc.
While Solvay Silica is best known as a global leader and the inventor of Highly Dispersible Silica (HDS) used for performance tire applications, the company also provides silica advantaged solutions for Industrial, Mechanical Rubber Goods, Food, Feed, Nutra and Personal Care markets.
On the appointment of Debro, Roger Dias, Silica Business Unit Manager North America commented, “aside from Tire, our Silica business has not had a strong presence in Canada, so we looked for an experienced channel partner that was well positioned and offered direct access to all of the key markets where our Silica is used.”
