Technical Industrial Specialty Account Manager (CASE Market)

Job Description

Responsible for developing new prospects and maintaining sales within an established Industrial Specialty Territory located in Ontario.  The successful candidate will work with our Industrial Specialty Business Unit Director to ensure that the business targets for the territory are met and that each of our suppliers’ goals are achieved.

Requirements:

Three years of experience in Technical Sales or a minimum of 3 years of experience in Chemical Distribution selling into Industrial Markets (CASE).

Must possess a degree in Science or have a background in Industrial Sales.

Experience in organizing sales calls / schedules / detailed reporting.

Exceptional skills in developing and maintaining client relationships.

Demonstrated enthusiasm and self-motivation.

Exhibit an eagerness for contributing beyond immediate duties

Must exhibit mature behavior and be able to move forward from setbacks.

Strong computer skills

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Manage account responsibility for an existing territory.
  2. Work with the Business Unit Directors to expand our product offering to each customer.
  3. Prospect new customers and develop new relationships.
  4. Participate in personal development training and technical training of the product lines.
  5. Ensure our company maintains a high profile and professional image.
  6. Active participation in industry associations and trade shows.
  7. Participate in regular sales meetings.
  8. Recommend and assist in the development of new product lines and principals.
  9. Communicate suggestions for improvement on a regular basis and participate in implementation.
  10. Assist in the preparation of annual sales budgets.
  11. Submit expenses using the required format on a monthly basis.

Require Skills
